Dr. Rithika Dulam

Rithika Dulam is a research scientist at NIST and is affiliated to the Engineering Management and Systems Engineering department of the George Washington University. She studies community resilience for large scale natural hazards at both an individual and community level. She has obtained her PhD in Technology Management for Innovation, Masters in Computational Earthquake Engineering from the University of Tokyo, Japan, and Bachelors in Civil engineering from the Osmania University, India. Her research interests reflect a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach to address complex challenges, which include computational disaster risk modelling, probabilistic analysis of impact due to extreme events, civil infrastructure system recovery, decision-making in uncertainty, natural hazard mitigation and management, consumer modeling, supply chain recovery, evacuation modelling, agent-based modelling, quantitative analysis etc.
