Janell recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where she cultivated a strong interest in medical anthropology, museum work, consulting, writing, and research. She also holds two associate degrees from Mount San Antonio College—one in Anthropology and one in Social Behavioral Sciences. 

Currently, Janell is taking her first steps into academic research, working toward publishing her own research, with a focus on exploring the intersections of anthropology and contemporary societal issues.

With a solid foundation in both the academic and corporate sectors, Janell brings a unique and diverse perspective to her research work.
